Senator Andrew Brenner has announced that the Ohio Controlling Board approved $58,752,504 from the All Ohio Future Fund for a development site in Coshocton County. The funding will support infrastructure development and upgrades at a 2,000-acre site within the Conesville Power Plant brownfield area.

Brenner stated, "Providing support to Coshocton County in redeveloping this site significantly impacts the economic opportunities available to the entire region." He added that good government ensures businesses receive necessary support and infrastructure to grow. Brenner looks forward to seeing the project's completion and its benefits for the 19th Senate District.

The project will involve site preparation, surface transportation improvements, and enhancements to water and wastewater services. Tax revenue generated from business investments due to this project will also aid local school systems.

The All Ohio Future Fund was established in the 2024-25 state operating budget with Senator Brenner's support. It represents a $750 million investment aimed at helping local communities with site-readiness for economic development projects. The funds are administered by the Ohio Department of Development.
