State Rep. Beth Lear | The Ohio House of Representatives
State Representative Beth Lear of Galena has recognized Ashlynn Brokaw and Alex Taylor from Mount Vernon High School for their achievements as state champions in wrestling. Brokaw secured the championship in the girls 105lb weight class and Taylor in the boys heavyweight class.
Lear expressed pride in their accomplishments, saying, "I am proud of the incredible achievements of the Mount Vernon wrestling team, especially standout athletes, Ashlynn Brokaw and Alex Taylor." She highlighted their hard work and sportsmanship as exemplary qualities. According to Lear, "Ashlynn and Alex have not only brought honor to Mount Vernon, but they've also inspired countless young athletes across our state. Congratulations to the entire team – you're an inspiration!"
Brokaw's and Taylor's accomplishments reflect positively on their community and have inspired young athletes throughout the state.
