City-wide water hydrant flushing will take place April 3-7 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. This maintenance activity helps maintain water quality and insure the reliable function of fire hydrants. Water customers may experience some temporary discoloration in their water during this hydrant flushing program. If discoloration occurs, please allow the water to cycle through your plumbing system until your water is clear. Should the discoloration condition persist or if you have any other questions or concerns, please call the Water Distribution Division at 740-203-1900 or the Utility Office at 740- 203-1250 option 4 for assistance.
