The City is installing a waterline and shared use path extension along Riverside Drive and Bright Road. The project includes the installation of new water main between Emerald Parkway and Hannah Hills Drive and on Bright Road between Riverside Drive and Grande Cliffs Drive.
The project will also construct a shared use path along the east side of Riverside Drive between Emerald Parkway and the existing path north of Hannah Hills Drive, with a pedestrian bridge over Billingsley Creek.
Residents living west of Riverside Drive will receive a 3” PVC casing pipe to run service laterals under the road.
Improving the infrastructure that serves our City is an investment that adds value and high-quality amenities for residents.
Work begins the week of Feb. 6, 2023, and should be complete in August 2023.
Work Status
- Construction of new waterline on Bright Road between Riverside Drive and Grande Cliffs Drive
- Temporary lane closures on Bright Road during the installation of the proposed waterline.
- Traffic will be maintained in both directions via flagging operations
- Northbound lane closures on Riverside Drive north of Emerald Parkway for sanitary sewer work and a concrete pour
