The Dublin Police Department seized more than $20,000 of cash, 26 pounds of marijuana and three firearms at a residence in January, completing a monthslong investigation that ended in a drug trafficking charge.
The police department’s Community Impact Unit conducted a search warrant and seized the illicit property from an address in the 6100 block of Northcliff Boulevard on Jan. 19.
Dublin Police also worked with the Ohio State Highway Patrol to conduct a traffic stop in order to take the suspect into custody. The resident was arrested and charged with drug trafficking as well as several counts of possessing weapons under disability.
Deputy Chief Greg Lattanzi commends the agency’s Community Impact Unit for its ongoing commitment to drug enforcement efforts in Dublin.“This investigation, which developed from an officer’s insightful observations, continues our department’s mission to provide public safety by reducing drug trafficking offenses that can harm our community members and neighbors.”
