Ostrander Board of Public Affairs Has an Open Position

The Ostrander Board of Public Affairs (BPA) is looking to fill an open position on its board.  The BPA is responsible for managing all Village owned utilities which in Ostrander is the Wastewater (Sewer) System. Board members must meet the following qualifications for an elected official:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • US citizen
  • Resident within the actual Village limits
  • Registered voter

In addition, experience in business, construction, agriculture, or any technical field would be preferred. The BPA meets monthly for approximately 2 hours on the 4th Tuesday of each month. However, duties may require additional involvement throughout the month. This position is paid $50 per meeting.
