The City of Powell invites families to participate in its annual Candy by the Carload trick-or-treat event. Area businesses and organizations will fill the parking lot with trick-or-treat stations, handing out candy and other Halloween goodies. In the park, attendees will enjoy “Which Witch is Which?” by Celestial Voices and Halloween-themed performances from the Amazing Giants’ Acro Duo. Families will also be able to take selfies at the Halloween photo booth. Trick-or-treaters must register to participate at www.Powell.RecDesk.com.
Candy by the Carload will be held at Seldom Seen Park (3232 Seldom Seen Rd.) on Sunday, October 23, from 4-6 pm. There is no fee to trick-or-treat, but registration is required.
Registration
Registration is required for all trick-or-treaters at www.Powell.RecDesk.com. Registration for residents is now open. If spots are still available, registration will open to non-residents on Saturday, October 1. Deadline for trick-or-treater registration is 5pm on Wednesday, October 19.
Families must register and select a 30-minute window in order to participate. Each trick-or-treater must be registered individually. There is no cost to trick-or-treat.
Call for Vendors
Businesses or organizations interested in participating in the City of Powell’s annual Candy by the Carload event may submit an online application by 5pm on Friday, October 14.
