Washington, D.C. - Congressman Troy Balderson has been appointed to serve on the Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health, where he will play a crucial role in shaping health policy. This new position will allow Balderson to advocate for the healthcare needs of Ohio residents from an influential platform.

The Energy and Commerce Committee, to which Balderson already belongs, holds significant authority on Capitol Hill, covering a wide range of health-related issues. The Health Subcommittee, in particular, oversees critical matters such as biomedical research, the opioid epidemic, and food and drug safety.
In addition to his role on the Health Subcommittee, Balderson is also involved in other subcommittees focusing on energy, climate, grid security, environment, manufacturing, and critical minerals.
