Congratulations to Barrett Swanger, an 8th-grade student in the DACC/BV Career-Based Intervention Program. Barrett took 1st place at the VFW Patriot's Pen competition, in which he submitted an essay focused on his assistance with the annual Veteran's Day Assembly held at Buckeye Valley and why veterans should be honored throughout the year. Barrett will move on to compete at the district level and, in the meantime, continue to spread this important message.
