Delaware County Emergency Management issued the following announcement on Oct. 9.
October is National Distracted Driving Month. Last year, Ohioans were involved in nearly 50,000 distracted driving crashes.
ODOT recommends putting your phone down and paying attention to the road so you don't become one of those statistics.
