Cost of college went up for all students at Ohio Wesleyan University

Tuition and fees rose 2.4 percent for 2018-19 at Ohio Wesleyan University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Ohio students paid $45,760 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,070 more than the $44,690 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 447 students received grants or scholarships totaling $14.3 million and 308 students took out student loans totaling more than $2.5 million.

Including all undergraduates (1,561), 1,542 students used grants or scholarships totaling $48.6 million, and 1,014 students took out $7.1 million in federal student loans.
