Lear, Lorenz Introduce Road Naming Bill to Honor Veterans

State Representatives Beth Lear and Brian Lorenz have introduced House Bill 294, a piece of legislation that aims to honor veterans by designating a specific stretch of Interstate Route 71 as the "Delaware County Veterans Memorial Highway." The designated area will cover the north and southbound lanes of the highway between State Route 36 and the border of Delaware and Morrow counties.Representative Lear, who is also a veteran, expressed her pride in being able to recognize the service of fellow veterans in her home county.
