National Preparedness Month

The City is joining the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and Franklin County Emergency Management & Homeland Security (FCEM&HS) in encouraging residents to plan ahead for potential crises during National Preparedness Month, which occurs every September. FCEM&HS’s theme this year is “A Lasting Legacy."

Themes this year are:

  • Make a Plan
  • Build a Kit
  • Protect Family & Property
  • Teach Youth About Preparedness
