City of Delaware recently issued the following announcement.
City-wide water hydrant flushing will take place April 11-15 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. This maintenance activity helps maintain water quality and insure the reliable function of fire
hydrants. Water customers may experience some temporary discoloration in their water. Please allow the water to run for a few minutes until your water is clear. Should the
discoloration condition persist, please call the Water Distribution Division at 740-203-1900 or the Utility Office at 740-203-1250 option 4.
