MLK Day of Service Results – A Day On, Not a Day Off

Olentangy Schools recently issued the following announcement.

Thank you to the Olentangy community for making the first event in the 2022 ONE Community Conference series a success! As a result of your efforts, the MLK Day of Service collected the following donations for local non-profit organizations:

  • Community Refugee & Immigration Services (CRIS) – 93 Welcome Kit Bins
  • Delaware County Diaper Bank (DCDB) – 173 Packs of Diaper and Wipes
  • Franklin County Children Services – Malaika Mentoring Program – 126 STEAM Kits/Books and Culturally Affirming Self-Care and Wellness Items
  • LSS Food Pantries – 616 Personal Care Items and Canned Fruit
  • Neighborhood Bridges – $150
  • Olentangy Schools Clinics – 93 Clothing and Food Items
  • Seeds of Caring – 44 Grief Care Kits
  • Turning Point – 516 Clothing, Personal Care and Household Items
For those that participated, please take a moment to complete this feedback survey. We truly hope this service event served as a learning opportunity for you and your family and brought to light inequities present in our community and organizations working to make a difference in the lives of those in need.
