The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Alaina Shearer, Alaina Shearer for Congress, refunded $240 to William Hanavan on August 25, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

According to the FEC data, the following reason was listed for the refunded expenditure: 'Contribution refund to an individual, partnership or limited liability company'.

Alaina Shearer for Congress refunded $1,320 total since March 1.
