Delaware County, OHIO, Sheriff's Office issued the following announcement on Oct. 13.
In Delaware County, the Delaware County Board Of Elections and your Sheriff’s Office respect the bipartisan nature of the elections process, and we work in concert to ensure a safe voting experience for all. We are pleased to report that since early elections started, we have experienced no safety issues. While we’re not anticipating any problems, we’re prepared to respond to any concerns citizens might have. As usual, on election day we will have a full complement of deputies on duty.
Citizen safety in the voting process is our priority. If anything arises of concern, please do not hesitate to call us.
